Michigan State PG Lourawls 'Tum Tum' Nairn dealing with plantar fasciitis

Published Nov. 28, 2015 11:42 a.m. ET

Michigan State sophomore point guard Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn is averaging 11.0 points and 7.5 assists through the first two games of the Wooden Legacy. But he's doing so in a great amount of pain.

According to Kyle Austin of MLive.com, the Michigan State floor general is battling a case of plantar fasciitis.

Nairn said he's been able to fully participate in practices despite the injury, and his minutes have not been affected by the injury.

Nairn played a season-high 34 minutes on Friday in the Spartans' 77-67 win over Boise State in the Wooden Legacy semifinals. He'll have a day to rest before Michigan State takes on Kris Dunn and Providence in the championship game.
