Darius Morris had a career-high 21 points and 10 assists, leading Michigan to an 80-58 win over Gardner-Webb on Sunday.

The victory gave John Beilein his 600th as a head coach.

Freshman Jordan Morgan scored a season-high 20 and matched a personal best with eight rebounds for the Wolverines (3-0). Tim Hardaway Jr. had 15 points and reserve Stu Douglass added 10.

Brian McNair led the Runnin' Bulldogs (3-2) with 14 points.

Michigan took control of the game against the Big South Conference team early in the first half, led 41-19 at halftime and coasted to the win.

The Wolverines hope tuneups against Gardner-Webb, Bowling Green and South Carolina Upstate have prepared them for their upcoming schedule.

Michigan plays No. 10 Syracuse on Friday in Atlantic City, N.J., Georgia Tech or UTEP the following day and at Clemson next week.
