Miami (Ohio) upends Bowling Green 55-51

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) Willie Moore scored 13 points off the bench as Miami (Ohio) upended Bowling Green 55-51 on Saturday.

Chris Bryant added nine points and 10 rebounds for the RedHawks (8-15, 2-8 Mid-American Conference) who had a 46-36 rebounding edge over Bowling Green. Eric Washington chipped in eight points. The team hit just 31 percent from the field and made 19 of 29 (65.5 percent) from the line.

Bowling Green went ahead 19-16 in the first half on a Spencer Parker 3-pointer and held on for a 25-24 edge at the break.

Moore hit a 3-pointer early in the second half to put the RedHawks on top 33-30 with 14:28 to play and a Bryant dunk gave them the lead for good, 39-38, with 9:32 remaining.

Demajeo Wiggins scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Falcons (13-10, 4-6), who have now lost five of their last six games.
