Julian Mavunga scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Nick Winbush added 14 points and 10 boards as Miami (Ohio) defeated Ohio 76-66 on Friday night.

Quinten Rollins added 15 points for the RedHawks (16-15, 11-5 Mid-American Conference), who clinched the No. 3 seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming conference tournament.

Miami led 36-26 at halftime after holding Ohio to 34.8-percent shooting (8 of 23) in the first half. Winbush scored all 14 of his points in the opening half.

The RedHawks shot 24 of 27 from the free-throw line (88.9 percent) after the break to seal the win. Miami made 30 of its 33 free-throw attempts (90.9 percent).

Ivo Baltic scored 18 points, D.J. Cooper added 14, Tommy Freeman 13 and DeVaughn Washington 12 for the Bobcats (17-14, 9-7), whose five-game winning streak ended. Baltic and Washington each grabbed nine rebounds.
