Jon Harris' 3-pointer with 2 seconds left gave Miami (Ohio) its only lead of the game in a 58-56 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

Derek Thompson's 3-pointer at the buzzer for Eastern Michigan was ruled to have been taken after time expired.

Allen Roberts led the RedHawks (11-12, 6-3 Mid-American Conference) with 19 points. Harris scored 14, including 4 of 5 on 3-pointers. Orlando Williams had 11 points, and Nick Winbush grabbed 10 rebounds.

Brandon Bowdry's 19 points and 11 rebounds led the Eagles (6-16, 3-6). J.R. Sims scored 13.

The Eagles led 28-15 at intermission, as Miami shot only 18.5 percent.

Eastern Michigan extended the gap to 20 was still up 55-46 before Harris hit consecutive 3-pointers to make it 55-52 with 1:14 left.

After an Eastern Michigan free throw, Roberts' three-point play cut it to 56-55 with 55 seconds left. That set up Harris' game-winner.
