CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) Miami Hurricanes forward James Kelly plans to transfer to a school closer to his home in Michigan.
Coach Jim Larranaga said Friday that Kelly was granted his release by the Hurricanes. The 6-foot-7 Kelly is from Ann Arbor, Mich.
He averaged 6.0 points and 3.7 rebounds in 27 games as a junior last season.
