Wesley Witherspoon scored 15 points, Tarik Black added 13 and top-seeded Memphis coasted into the finals of the Conference USA tournament with an 83-52 victory over Central Florida on Friday night.
Memphis (25-8) was never threatened after the first 10 minutes, steadily building its lead through the second half. The advantage eventually reached 38 before Memphis coach Josh Pastner began emptying his bench with reserves.
Will Barton and Joe Jackson added 10 apiece for Memphis, which won its sixth straight.
The fourth-seeded Knights (22-10) were led by 11 points from Isaiah Sykes, who was 4 of 6 from the field.
In Saturday's final, Memphis will face sixth-seeded Marshall, which defeated Southern Mississippi 73-62 in the other semifinal game earlier Friday.
