Md-Eastern Shore rolls over Central Penn 115-86

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) Devin Martin scored a career-high 37 points and was one of three players with 10 rebounds as Maryland-Eastern Shore rolled to a 115-86 win over Central Penn College on Tuesday.

Dominic Ellis had 15 points, Derrico Peck 14, Thomas Rivera 12 and Bakari Copeland 11 for the Hawks (3-10). Peck and Martin also had 10 boards as Maryland-Eastern Shore had a 53-21 rebounding advantage.

The Hawks offensive out is believed to be the most since beating Bethune-Cookman 117-88 on Feb. 18, 1991. To get there, they shot 68 percent (42 of 62), including half of their 18 3-pointers. Marin was 7 of 10 behind the arc and 14 of 18 overall. He also had five assists.

Andre Battle had 24 points and Tyree Tucker 21 for the Knights (13-6) from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. The Hawks were their fourth Division I opponent.
