Multiple sources told FOXSports.com Sunday that Kevin McKenna, who has spent the last three years as the head coach at Indiana State, has accepted an assistant spot with Dana Altman at Oregon.
McKenna, 51, is 43-52 in his three seasons at the helm with the Sycamores – and went 17-15 this past season and led Indiana State to an appearance in the CBI.
He has familiarity with Altman from their time in the Missouri Valley Conference. Altman came to Oregon in the offseason from Creighton.
The leading candidate, according to sources, to replace McKenna
is assistant Greg Lansing.
