Dorvell Carter scored 18 points and Devin Price added 15 as Marist defeated New Hampshire 58-49 on Saturday night, snapping an 11-game losing streak.

The Red Foxes (5-24) fell behind 4-0 less than a minute into the game, but outscored the Wildcats 31-12 the rest of the way to take a 31-16 halftime lead.

New Hampshire (12-15) shot 24.1 percent from the floor (7 of 29), including 1 of 13 from 3-point range (7.7 percent) in the opening half.

Marist, which had lost 14 of 15, led by double digits for most of the second half.

Chandler Rhoads scored 16 points and Tyrone Conley added 15 for the Wildcats, who finished the game 3 of 20 from beyond the arc (15 percent).

New Hampshire got as close as 54-47 with less than a minute left, but Price went 4 of 4 from the free-throw line in the final 55 seconds to seal the win.
