Maodo Lo, Columbia beat Bucknell 72-61

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) Maodo Lo made four of Columbia's 11 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to help the Lions beat Bucknell 72-61 on Wednesday night.

Lo hit a three pointer on three consecutive trips down the floor to cap Columbia's 14-0 run for a 30-18 lead. His fourth make from beyond the arc came with 3:50 remaining after Bucknell had pulled within 60-52.

Luke Petrasek also made four 3s for Columbia (4-4) and scored 14 points. Alex Rosenberg added 13 points and Kyle Castlin had 10.

Nana Foulland scored 13 points and Zach Thomas 11 points for Bucknell (3-4), and Thomas also grabbed 10 rebounds. The Bison shot just 3 of 24 (12.5 percent) from 3-point range.

Chris Hass hit back-to-back layups in the first half to move over the 1,000-point mark. He's the 39th Bison to do so.
