Manhattan skirts past Morgan State 73-69

RIVERDALE, N.Y. (AP) Shane Richards scored 20 points and made four free throws on one trip to spark Manhattan's late run past Morgan State 73-69 on Saturday night.

Morgan State's Blake Bozeman was called for a personal foul and technical foul on the same play with 3:02 left, sending Richards to the foul line. Richards tied the game by making all four and sparked a 12-4 run to close out the game.

Tyler Wilson gave Manhattan (3-7) the lead for good with a layup on the Jaspers' next possession and they made 4 of 6 free throws in the final 30 seconds.

Emmy Andujar added 16 points, six assists and five rebounds for Manhattan and broke a scoring drought of over six minutes on a layup with 4:25 to go.

Morgan State (2-10) added five straight points after Andujar's layup to complete a 12-2 run, leading 65-61.

Zech Smith led the Bears with 19 points and 15 rebounds.
