Malik Johnson's full-court dash wins it for Canisius (Feb 06, 2017)

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) Malik Johnson scored the game-winning basket with 0.1 seconds left on Monday night to give Canisius a 72-70 win over Saint Peter's.

Trevis Wyche made three free throws with 5.5 seconds left to tie it for the Peacocks, and then Johnson raced the length of the court, finishing near the hoop while falling to his back to avoid getting blocked by a pair of nearby defenders.

Phil Valenti's layup gave the Griffins a 68-65 lead with 36 seconds left. Wyche cut it to one on a basket with 25 seconds and Johnson hit a pair of free throws to make it 70-67 with 8 seconds to go.

Kiefer Douse scored 22 points, Kassius Robertson added 15 points and Johnson finished with 11 for the Golden Griffins (15-10, 8-6 Metro), who have come from behind in 11 of their wins this season.

Wyche had 17 points for Saint Peter's (12-12, 8-6).
