Loyola (Md.) holds off Lehigh 65-60

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) Eric Laster hit two free throws with 5 seconds remaining to make it a two possession game and finished with 17 points as Loyola (Md.) held off Lehigh 65-60 on Saturday.

Denzel Brito made two free throws to give Loyola a 59-54 lead with 1:29 left. Lehigh's Austin Price and Stefan Cvrkalj hit 3-pointers on its next two possessions but Loyola had an answer each time. Andre Walker was perfect from the line with 12.6 left, Lehigh turned it over on its next possession and Laster sealed it.

Tyler Hubbard made four 3-pointers and had 16 points for Loyola (6-9, 2-2 Patriot). Cam Gregory added 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Lehigh's leading scorer, Tim Kempton, scored 14 points and had eight rebounds but fouled out with 2:05 left.

Kahron Ross and Justin Goldsborough had 11 apiece for Lehigh (7-8, 1-3), and Austin Price had 10. Goldsborough had a career-high six blocks.
