LIU Brooklyn wallops St. Francis 82-45 in Battle of Brooklyn (Feb 15, 2017)

NEW YORK (AP) Jerome Frink scored 15 points, drained all three of his 3-point shots, grabbed eight rebounds, and made four assists and LIU Brooklyn walloped St. Francis Brooklyn 82-45 on Wednesday night in the 42nd Battle of Brooklyn.

Frink was named Battle of Brooklyn MVP and the Blackbirds ended St. Francis' two year reign in the series.

LIU Brooklyn charged out to a 48-25 halftime lead and didn't slow down, limiting St. Francis to just 20 points on 4-for-26 shooting (15 percent) in the second half.

Raiquan Clark also scored 15 for the Blackbirds (17-11, 10-5 Northeast Conference), Nura Zana scored 13, and Iverson Fleming 10. The Blackbirds have won three straight games and have already clinched a berth in the NEC tournament.

Rasheem Dunn led St. Francis (4-24, 2-13) with 17 points and pushed his freshman season scoring record to 378 points. Gianni Ford added 13.
