Mike James came off the bench to score a school-record 52 points, leading Lamar to a 114-62 victory over Louisiana College on Tuesday night.
James tied the school record with 11 3-pointers and was 18 for 35 from the field and 5 for 7 from the free-throw line. Devon Lamb added 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Brandon Davis had 14 points for the Cardinals (6-7).
Jarrod Jackson scored 13 points for the Division III Wildcats (4-6), who were playing their first game since Dec. 16.
Lamar scored 70 points in the second half after leading by just eight at halftime. The Cardinals were 40 of 83 from the field and outrebounded the Wildcats 61-43.

Louisiana College committed 23 turnovers which Lamar turned into 29 points.
