EASTON, Pa. (AP) Paulius Zalys scored a career-high 21 points and Lafayette beat Colgate 79-77 on Saturday to end a 12-game losing streak on the final day of the Patriot League regular season.

Monty Boykins' two free throws with 5.4 seconds left gave the Leopards a 79-76 lead before Lafayette intentionally fouled Tom Rivard, who made the first free throw then missed the second on purpose only to have the rebound go out of bounds to the victors.

Boykins scored 17 points with nine rebounds. Matt Klinewski, who gave the Leopards the lead for good with a basket with 1:35 left, added 12 points. Lafayette (6-23, 3-15) played without leading scorer Nick Lindner and Zach Rufer, both injured in the previous game.

Austin Tillotson scored 26 points with Sean O'Brien adding a career-high 19 and Jordan Swopshire 11 for the Raiders (13-16, 9-9).
