Ryan Willen scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half to help Lafayette rally and beat Navy 65-63 Saturday night.

Navy led 57-53 behind a Jordan Sugars layup with 3:25 left in the second half. But Willen made a layup of his own, sparking a 9-0 run to help the Jaguars (6-10, 1-0 Patriot League) take a 60-57 lead with 1:46 left.

Willen capped the run with a three-point play.

Jordan Brickman made a layup to cut the lead to one, 62-61, but Willen made three free throws in the final 18 seconds to secure the victory.

Willen was 7 of 12 from the field and made 7 of 9 free throws.

Jim Mower scored 13 and Rob Delaney 10 for the Jaguars.

Sugars led Navy (3-12, 0-1) with 20 points but the Midshipmen shot 39.6 percent (19 of 48) from the field and allowed 17 second-chance points.
