Joey Brunk will be spending his next four years just down the road from where he grew up.

The 4-star center prospect announced his commitment to Butler on Sunday, spurning fellow in-state schools Indiana and Purdue and, for all intents and purposes, half of the Big Ten conference.

Butler hasn't had size like Brunk since Andrew Smith graduated in 2013, with the slender Kameron Woods generally manning the middle since then. Brunk is said to be a solid offensive presence down low who, with some work, could could into a defensive force as well.
