Rayshawn Goins scored 17 points and Denzel Bowles had a double-double to lead James Madison in a 65-56 win over Presbyterian on Tuesday night.

Julius Wells chipped in 14 points, Bowles finished with 12 and Humpty Hitchens had 10 for the Dukes (3-1).

James Madison shot 54.2 percent (26 of 48), thanks in part to 34 points coming in the paint and 10 off fast breaks.

The Blue Hose (1-4), who didn't score once on a fast break, shot 39.2 percent (20 of 51) and went 9 for 24 from 3-point range (37.5 percent).

James Madison won the battle of the boards 33-23 and finished with 18 assists, compared to 12 by Presbyterian. Devon Moore had seven assists for the Dukes.

Al'Lonzo Coleman led the Blue Hose with 15 points and four steals. Pierre Miller added 11 points and Khalid Mutakabbir had 10 for Presbyterian.
