Jacksonville defeats Trinity Baptist 69-57

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Andris Misters scored 19 points with six assists as Jacksonville placed four in double figures for the second straight game beating Trinity Baptist 69-57 on Wednesday night.

Shea Jones added 12 points while J.R. Holder scored 11 and Kori Babineaux 10 for the Dolphins (2-4). Babineaux also had five assists as Jacksonville recorded a season-high 19.

Charles Cooks led the Eagles of the NCCAA with 18 points. Tyrell Johnson added 14 and Kirk Hill had 10.

The bigger Dolphins out-rebounded Trinity 36-29, outscored the Eagles 12-0 on second-chance points and 28-22 in the paint.

Trinity scored the first four points but a dunk by Antwon Clayton cut it to 4-3 and a steal by Babineaux and his dish to Misters led to the layup that gave Jacksonville the lead for good.

Scrappy Trinity fought back to tie twice late in the first half, but were outscored 16-7 into halftime.
