Jabari Parker shares hidden -- and tasty -- talent with Duke fans
Duke freshman sensation Jabari Parker may well be destined for a fantastic NBA career. But if basketball doesn't work out for him, perhaps a culinary career is in his future.
Parker recently showed off his generosity -- and his baking skills -- in a video released by the university.
In it, Parker is shown making several trays of his "Jabari Bars" and then handing out the dessert treats to students who are camped out for tickets to Saturday's game vs. archrival North Carolina.
After all, those fans in Krzyzewskiville tents are hungry -- and not just for a win over the Tar Heels.
"One thing about my dessert, it helps your handles because you've gotta squish all these graham crackers," Parker says in the video. "My wrists are getting tired already."
So what else is in a Jabari Bar, aside from graham crackers? Well, butter, apparently. Lots of it. As for the rest of the recipe?
"The ingredients are top-secret," Parker says.
Duke students got to enjoy "Jabari Bars," prepared by Parker himself.
