SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) Max Landis scored 16 points and Mo Evans sank the winning bucket with 3 seconds left to lift IPFW to a 75-73 win over Cal Poly on Thursday night.

Trailing 71-65, IPFW (7-2) got back-to-back 3-pointers from Landis and DeAngelo Stewart to tie the game with 1:28 left. Cal Poly retook the lead on a pair free throws from Reese Morgan but Stewart's bucket at the other end tied it up again.

Landis then grabbed a big defensive rebound with 15 seconds remaining, setting up Evans' winning jumper. Cal Poly's Ridge Shipley missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Stewart finished with 15 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, while Evans and Joe Reed added 11 points each for the Mastodons, who hit 14 of 30 from beyond the arc.

Luke Meikle led Cal Poly (4-3) with 16 points, David Nwaba had 11 and Morgan 10.
