Josh Mayo's 3-pointer with three seconds left sent the game into overtime and Illinois-Chicago's balanced attack took over, leading to a 77-66 win over Wright State on Wednesday. Jeremy Buttell added 15 points and 13 rebounds for Illinois-Chicago (13-14, 6-11 Horizon League), which led for most of the second half until Wright State (16-11, 10) went on a 9-2 run and led 61-58 with 26 seconds left. The Flames outscored the Raiders 16-5 in overtime. Spencer Stewart added 15 points, Mayo and Robo Kreps each added 13 points and Rob Eppinger added 11 for the Flames. Illinois-Chicago was 25-of-27 from the free-throw line. Head coach Jimmy Collins returned to Illinois-Chicago's bench after missing two games due to his mother's death. Todd Brown scored 23 points and Cory Cooperwood finished with 12 points for the Raiders.
