Idaho State cruises against Montana-Western, 86-66
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) Chris Hansen scored 21 points on 6-of-13 shooting and added five steals to lead Idaho State to an 86-66 win over Montana-Western on Tuesday night.
Evann Hall added 17 points off the bench for the Bengals, and Nnamdi Ezenwa, Marcus Bradley, and Erik Nakken each finished with nine points.
Offensively, Idaho State hit 10 percent of its 25 3-pointers and held a 38-22 advantage in bench scoring while holding Montana-Western to 35 percent shooting from the field and forcing 18 Bulldog turnovers.
Stephen McCall and Shyke Smalls each scored 15 points to lead Montana-Western. Dexter Williams added 12 points for the Bulldogs, but also had seven turnovers.
The Bengals scored 52 points in the first half and held a 14 point lead at the break, stretching it to as many as 29 in the second half.
