Nick Barbour came off the bench to score 17 points and High Point held on to defeat Presbyterian 69-62 on Tuesday night, sweeping the season series.

The Panthers (8-13, 5-7 Big South Conference) led 40-30 with 16:49 to go, then the Blue Hose went on a 13-2 run for a 43-42 edge with 11:56 left.

The lead changed hands five more times, with High Point pulling ahead for good at 61-59 with 2:15 to go on a Barbour 3-pointer.

Barbour followed with a layup a minute later and the Panthers were 6 of 6 from the free-throw line in the final 16 seconds to seal their second straight win.

The Panthers, who won the first game 64-60 in overtime on Jan. 20, had a 34-13 edge in bench points.

Du'Vaughn Maxwell added 10 points and 11 rebounds for High Point.

Jake Troyli scored a career-high 24 points for the Blue Hose (10-13, 4-7), who saw a two-game winning streak snapped.
