Laurent Rivard made 5 of 10 from beyond the arc and scored 17 points to lead Harvard over Manhattan 79-45 on Friday night.

Siyani Chambers scored 14 points, and Christian Webster added 12 points for Harvard (2-1), who had five players reach double figures, including Agunwa Okolie (11) and Wesley Saunders (10).

Emmy Andujar scored 12 points and RaShawn Stores had 11 points for Manhattan (0-2).

Harvard put the game away early. At 11-5 in the first half, Harvard went on a 22-4 run- including two 3-pointers by Rivard - that led to a 39-17 halftime lead.

Harvard's 34-point margin is the largest for the Crimson since defeating Daniel Webster by 43, 94-51, on Dec. 28, 2008, and Manhattan's 45 points was the fewest Harvard has allowed since topping Brown 69-42 last season.

The Crimson held Manhattan to 14 of 41 shooting and caused 26 turnovers.
