Hartford 82, Maine 74

BANGOR, Maine (AP) - Pancake Thomas scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Hartford to an 82-74 win over Maine on Wednesday night.

Thomas was 7 of 16 from the field including five 3-pointers for the Hawks (9-21, 4-11 America East Conference). Jalen Ross added 14 points and George Blagojevic had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Thomas hit a 3-pointer with 8:55 to go the first half to give Hartford a 26-22 lead. But Maine finished the period on a 19-8 surge to take a 41-34 advantage at halftime.

Thomas, Ross and Blagojevic combined for three 3-pointers early in the second half to put Hartford back on top, 48-45, with 15:17 to play. Jack Hobbs sank a layup to make it 71-61 with 3:08 remaining and the Hawks cruised from there.

Issac Vann scored 23 points and eight rebounds for the Black Bears (8-20, 4-11).
