Mark Nwakamma scored 18 points and Hartford had its best shooting game of the season in a 67-51 win over Saint Peter's on Saturday.

The Hawks (8-19) shot 61.9 percent (26 of 42) from the field, including 8 of 9 by Nwakamma. Hartford also made 6 of 14 3-point attempts.

Andres Torres added 13 points and Clayton Brothers had 10 for the Hawks, who have won four straight games. The Bracket Busters contest was the first meeting between the teams since 1997.

Hartford scored 34 points in the paint and outrebounded the Peacocks 34-17.

Darius Conley scored 20 points and was the only player in double figures for the Peacocks (5-23), who lost for the fifth time in a row. Conley also had nine rebounds.

It was the seventh time in the past nine games Saint Peter's has been held to 55 points or less.
