Green Bay edges rival Milwaukee 70-68

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (AP) Charles Cooper had 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists and Green Bay beat rival Milwaukee 70-68 Monday night to avenge a one-point setback on Jan. 29.

Matt Tiby made 1 of 2 free throws with 2:15 left to break a tie but Milwaukee did not score again. Jamar Hurdle's dunk at the other end gave Green Bay the lead for good and Cooper hit one free throw on the Phoenix's next possession.

Brock Stull missed an open 3-pointer from the corner with eight seconds left and, after Cooper missed the front end of 1-and-1 with 4.5 seconds left, Austin Arians' long 3 hit the back of the rim at the buzzer.

Carrington Love added 13 points for Green Bay (16-11, 8-6 Horizon).

Jordan Johnson, who is ranked second in the nation in assists, had 13 points and six assists for Milwaukee (16-11, 7-7). J.J. Panoske had three blocks to top his own program record (41) with his 42nd on the season.
