The Oklahoma at Gonzaga basketball game has been delayed because of a shattered backboard.

Oklahoma's Tiny Gallon went up for an alley-oop with 15:34 left in the second half Thursday night. Gallon, who weighs 296 pounds, missed the ball, but grabbed the front of the rim with both hands.

The force shattered the backboard, showering players and some fans with debris. Both teams went to the locker rooms while workers swept up the glass and prepared a replacement.

Gonzaga was leading 59-41 at the time.
