Glaze leads Grand Canyon in win over Seattle 71-60

SEATTLE (AP) Grandy Glaze scoring 16 points on 7 for 12 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds as Grand Canyon won its third straight, beating Seattle 71-60 Friday night.

With the win, Grand Canyon (22-4, 8-2 Western Athletic Conference) avenged an earlier loss to Seattle which snapped the Antelopes' then NCAA-best 12-game winning streak. Seattle's (12-12, 6-4) loss ended its five-game winning streak.

Manroop Clair led Seattle with 20 points.

The Lopes used a 10-0 run in a three-minute span to break open a close game for a 59-50 lead with 4:09 to play. Joshua Braun and Gerard Martin each hit 3s, Braun also had a jumper and Glaze made a layup during the decisive stretch.

Grand Canyon sits a half-game behind conference leader New Mexico State and has a half-game lead over third-place Cal State Bakersfield, both of whom play Saturday.
