ATLANTA (AP) Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory has added Coastal Carolina assistant and former NBA player Mamadou N'Diaye to his coaching staff.

N'Diaye spent the past three seasons at Coastal Carolina. He worked under Cliff Ellis, his coach when he starred at Auburn.

N'Diaye is from Senegal and Gregory says he'll expand the school's national and international recruiting.

N'Diaye was a first-round pick by Denver in the 2000 NBA draft. He was traded to Toronto, where he played three seasons. He also played for the Dallas, Atlanta, the Clippers and Golden State in his five years in the NBA. He then played in Greece, Lithuania, China and Israel before retiring in 2010.
