Eric Ferguson scored 17 points, leading five Georgia Southern players in double figures in an 88-60 victory over Brewton-Parker on Monday night.

Twelve of Ferguson's points came in the first half, when the Eagles (4-8) shot a blistering 70.8 percent (17 of 24) for a 41-23 halftime lead.

Jelani Hewitt added 14 points, Ben Drayton had 13, and Willie Powers and Tre' Bussey 11 each for Georgia Southern, which had lost its past four games but had led Auburn by 14 points Friday night before falling 78-75.

The Eagles never led by fewer than 14 points in the second half and were up by 32 points, 86-54, with a minute to play as they defeated the Barons (5-7), an NAIA team, for the 11th consecutive time.

Darrie Stephens scored 14 points to lead Brewton-Parker, which shot 43.6 percent (24 of 55) but made just 3 of 20 from 3-point range.
