Gardner-Webb 71, W. Carolina 65

Jon Moore hit 7 of 8 free throws in the final 34 seconds in Gardner-Webb's come-from-behind, 71-65 victory over Western Carolina on Saturday in the Legends Classic.
The Runnin' Bulldogs (4-3), who had lost two straight games and three of their previous four, overcame a 17-point deficit.
Trailing 25-8 with 10:26 left in the first half, Gardner-Webb tied the score at 37 a second before halftime on Santoine Butler's three-point play.
In the second half, the Runnin' Bulldogs led by eight, but the Catamounts (2-4) closed to 64-61 on a Mike Williams 3-pointer with 1:01 left.
Moore's four trips to the free-throw line were enough to hold off Western Carolina, which has lost three of its last four.
Laron Buggs also scored 12 for Gardner-Webb, while Mike Byron and Josh Henley had 10 apiece.
Williams led the Catamounts with 24 points and Trey Sumler added 12.
