Jon Moore scored 18 and Stefon Johnson added all 12 of his points in the second half to lead Gardner-Webb to a 59-52 comeback win over Radford in Big South Conference play Saturday night.

The Runnin' Bulldogs (6-4, 1-1) shot 9 for 23 from the floor (39.1 percent) in the opening half and trailed 28-24 at halftime. But a 9-0 run at the start of the second - capped by a 3 from Laron Buggs - gave Gardner-Webb a 33-28 lead with 16:55 remaining.

The Highlanders (2-5, 0-2) took a 50-48 lead on a layup from Evan Faulkner with 2:55 left. Gardner-Webb scored the next eight to retake the lead, 56-50, with 40 seconds remaining.

Gardner-Webb shot 8 for 23 in the second half (34.8 percent) and 8 of 18 from the free-throw line (44.4 percent).

Johnathan Edwards scored 13 points and had nine rebounds to lead Radford - which has lost five straight after starting the season 2-0.
