Frazier's first double-double leads SMU to 67-46 win

DALLAS (AP) Keith Frazier scored 16 points and pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds for his first double-double as SMU beat Illinois-Chicago 67-46 on Wednesday night.

Nic Moore also scored 16 points and Yanick Moreira added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Mustangs (7-3), who are 7-1 at home after their fifth consecutive victory.

The Mustangs made 22 of 41 shots for 53.7 percent, the fifth time they have been over 50 percent.

SMU led the entire way and was up 29-15 at halftime, the fewest points the Mustangs have allowed this season.

The Flames (3-9) were led by Marc Brown with 15 points. UIC made just 17 of 64 shots for 26.6 percent, including 7 of 25 from the arc (28 percent). They were outscored 28-14 in the paint as the Mustangs outrebounded UIC 43-27.
