Rae Rippetoe-Blair, the former Texas-San Antonio women's basketball coach who set a school record for career wins, has died in a motorcycle accident on an Austin freeway flyover ramp. She was 52.

Her mother, Anita Rippetoe, told the Austin American-Statesman that her daughter was riding to sell her vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycle when she lost control on the Loop 1 ramp to U.S. 183, hit the barrier and went over the side.
