Florida's Michael Frazier II remains sidelined by high ankle sprain
Florida guard Michael Frazier II likely will miss his seventh straight game because of a high-ankle sprain.
Coach Billy Donovan says the team's leading scorer hasn't been cleared to even practice heading into Tuesday night's home finale against Texas A&M (20-8, 11-5 Southeastern Conference).
''I don't anticipate him playing tomorrow unless I got some miraculous diagnosis from our trainer and doctor that say he's cleared to play," Donovan said. "But I don't envision that happening.''
Frazier sprained his right ankle against Kentucky and has missed the past six games. Florida (14-15, 7-9) has gone 2-4 without Frazier, one of the league's best 3-point shooters.
Donovan says Frazier is having significant pain while starting, stopping and cutting.
A junior from Tampa, Frazier is averaging 13.2 points and 4.6 rebounds.
