Florida coach Billy Donovan has signed a three-year contract extension that should keep him in Gainesville through the 2015-16 season.

Donovan agreed to the extension in October, adding to the six-year deal he signed in 2007 that pays him $3.5 million annually.

Donovan has led the Gators to two national titles, three Final Four appearances and 11 NCAA tournament berths in 15 seasons. His career record is 402-169, including 367-149 at Florida.

Donovan's base salary will be $220,000 from 2014-17, plus nearly $2.7 million coming from an activities agreement that includes television and radio programs/sponsorships, and basketball camps.
