Brett Comer scored 15 points and hit key free throws in overtime to lift Florida Gulf Coast to an 84-80 win over Lipscomb on Saturday night.

Comer made 6 of 8 free throw attempts in the final 31 seconds of overtime to preserve the win.

Sherwood Brown scored 16 points, Chase Fieler added 12, Dante Holmes had 11 and Bernard Thompson had 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Eagles (8-9, 4-3 Atlantic Sun Conference).

Lipscomb led 63-50 with 9:17 remaining in regulation after a Jordan Burgason 3-pointer, but the Eagles rallied to take a 68-67 lead on an Eddie Murray 3-pointer with 1:21 to go. Justin Glass hit a free throw for Lipscomb with 36 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime at 70-70.

Burgason scored 18 points and Jacob Arnett added 16 for the Lipscomb (8-10, 3-3), which have lost six of their past eight games.
