Sherwood Brown scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Florida Gulf Coast routed Longwood 101-58 on Tuesday night.
Florida Gulf Coast, which scored a season-high 40 points off the bench, won by its largest margin since the Eagles joined Division I in 2007-08.
Bernard Thompson scored 11 points and Brett Comer added 12 assists for Florida Gulf Coast (10-10). Coming off the bench for the Eagles, Christophe Varidel added 17 points, Dante Holmes 13 and Filip Cvjeticanin 12.
Florida Gulf Coast finished with 24 assists and 22 points off turnovers, helping to lead to 58.8-percent shooting from the field (40 of 68).
The Eagles took their largest lead, 99-54, on Marcus Blake's layup with 2:31 remaining.
Antwan Carter led Longwood (7-14) with 18 points and Tristan Carey added 14. The Lancers shot just 33.9 percent (21 of 62), while turning it over 12 times.
