Jamie Adams recorded a double-double to lead five players in double figures and Florida A&M defeated Edward Waters 87-69 Tuesday night.

Adams finished with 18 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, Reggie Lewis had 17, Jamari Bradshaw added 15, Muhammad Abdul-Aleem scored 14 and Markee Teal chipped in 11 for the Rattlers, who shot 52.4 percent (33 of 63) from the field.

Florida A&M (3-6) led 41-30 at the break and outscored Edward Waters 46-39 in the second half to keep the Tigers at bay.

Dylan Watts had 15 points for Edward Waters but the Tigers got just four points for their bench. The Tigers shot 43.5 percent (27 of 62) from the field but made just 10 of 21 free-throw attempts.

The Rattlers, who made 7 of 26 3-pointers, hit 14 of 21 free throws in the win.
