Greg Gantt scored 25 points as Florida Atlantic routed Troy 88-67 Thursday night in a Sun Belt Conference game.
Gantt, the leading scorer for FAU (7-121, 3-3), hit 8 of 16 shots from the field, including 4 of 6 3-pointers. He was 5 for 5 from the foul line and had great help from FAU's bench, which outscored Troy (6-11, 1-5) 43-24.
Raymond Taylor scored 15 points, making all three of his 3-point attempts. Pablo Bertone added 13 points and Shavar Richardson 11.
Up 42-29 at halftime, Florida Atlantic increased its lead to 24 points midway through the second half. The Owls shot 55.4 percent from the floor (31 of 56) and 52.9 percent from the arc (9 of 17).
Emil Jones was the only Trojan in double figures with 19 points. Leading scorer Will Weathers had just four points on 1 for 10 shooting.
