SAN ANTONIO (AP) Jon Elmore scored 23 points with seven 3-pointers, and James Kelly scored 22 as hot-shooting Marshall thundered past Texas-San Antonio 109-91 on Saturday, breaking 100 points for the second-straight game and beating UTSA for the first time.

The seven treys were a career-high for Elmore, and Marshall rained 18 of the deep shots on UTSA, one shy of the school record. Austin Loop added 17 points for the Thundering Herd (12-12, 8-3 Conference USA), which shot 55-percent. Marshall scored 108 points in a loss at UTEP Thursday. The back-to-back 100-point games are a first since December 28 and 30, 1988.

Marshall's first four field goals were 3-pointers, including two from Elmore, as the Herd jumped to an early 13-5 lead and never trailed.

Christian Wilson scored a career-high 29 points, and Ryan Bowie added 26 to lead UTSA (4-20, 2-9), which had beaten Marshall in two previous meetings.
