ECU welcomes VMI in 2019-20 season opener

BOTTOM LINE: East Carolina gets its 2019-20 season underway by hosting the VMI Keydets. VMI went 11-21 last year and finished ninth in the SoCon, while East Carolina ended up 10-21 and finished 11th in the AAC.

DID YOU KNOW: VMI went 3-6 against non-conference schools last season. In those nine games, the Keydets gave up 81.8 points per game while scoring 70.9 per contest. East Carolina went 7-5 in non-conference play, averaging 71.1 points and giving up 67 per game in the process.
