Mike DiNunno pieced together a second straight career performance as Eastern Kentucky held off High Point for a 73-70 nonconference victory Friday night.

DiNunno scored 22 points, matching his total from Wednesday's game against North Carolina A&T, which marked a career high for a regulation contest. The senior hit 4 of 9 from 3-point range Friday.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the 10-2 Colonels.

High Point (4-6) trailed 54-50 with 6:30 left, but staged an 8-2 run for a 58-56 lead as John Brown capped the raid with a steal and dunk. Brown finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
