E. Kentucky 64, Indiana St. 59
Joshua Jones tied the game near the end of regulation, then put Eastern Kentucky ahead to stay in overtime as the Colonels edged Indiana State 64-59 Sunday in the Nick Kladis Classic.
Jones hit a jumper with 29 seconds left to tie the game 52-52. Indiana State got a chance to win in regulation, but Jordan Printy missed a shot with two seconds left.
Jones sank a 3-pointer with 3:43 left in overtime that put the Colonels up 56-54, then hit a free throw with 2:17 to play that broke a 56-56 tie and gave Eastern Kentucky the lead for good. He finished with nine points.
Devin McDonald led the Colonels with 18 points, and Josh Daniel added 17.
Dwayne Lathan scored 16 points for the Sycamores. Myles Walker had nine points and 10 rebounds.
