Curry McKinney scored 22 points and Jeremy Granger scored the final seven points of the game as Eastern Illinois defeated Bradley 63-56 Wednesday.
Granger, who finished with 12 points and seven assists, hit a jump shot and five free throws in the final two minutes for the Panthers (2-3).
Andrew Warren had 23 points for Bradley (4-2), including 10 straight in the closing minutes to help the Braves tie the game 56-56 with 2:11 remaining.
Tyler Laser added 17 points for Eastern Illinois. Dodie Dunson had 13 for Bradley.
The Panthers, who led 35-28 at halftime, extended the lead to as much as 12 in the second half. Eastern Illinois had 16 steals, leading to 23 Bradley turnovers.
The Braves got back in the game in part by outrebounding the Panthers 38-29.
