Frantz Massenat scored 22 points as Drexel defeated William & Mary 63-61 Tuesday night to remain tied for the Colonial Athletic Association lead.

The victory was the 14th in a row for the Dragons (22-5, 14-2), who are 12-0 at home.

Drexel led 31-25 at halftime, but the Tribe (5-24, 3-14) shot 60 percent (15 of 25) in the second half to stay close.

William & Mary took its only lead of the second half, 52-51, on a layup by Tim Rusthoven with 3:30 to play, but Massenat responded with a three-point play, a jumper and two free throws to put Drexel back in front 58-52 with 43 seconds left.

The Tribe made it a one-point game, 62-61, on Brandon Britt's 3-pointer with 3 seconds left before a final free throw by Massenat.

Derrick Thomas added 16 points for Drexel.

Marcus Thornton scored 13 and Britt 12 for the Tribe.
